AuroraWatch UK is a complimentary service provided by the Space and Planetary Physics group at Lancaster University's Department of Physics. By subscribing to this service, you will receive notifications when the aurora is potentially visible from the UK. Its implementation, maintenance, and support are handled by Neil Morton at Progress Concepts Limited in collaboration with AuroraWatch UK. The service offers you the convenience of accessing the data through the AuroraWatch UK app on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch. Additionally, it provides real-time updates and alerts to inform you about potential sightings of the aurora in the UK.

The app allows you to customize the alert settings based on your preferences and location, ensuring that you receive timely notifications whenever there is an opportunity to witness this awe-inspiring phenomenon.
